Buon Ma Thuot to Lak Lake Cycling Escape
Three days by bike to Lak Lake and back, with a full day around the lake and two nights at Y Sol House by the water.
Lak Lake is the largest natural lake in Dak Lak, surrounded by rice fields, hills and M'nong villages. On day one you ride from Buon Ma Thuot to the lake. Day two is a slower loop around the lake and its villages. On day three you ride back to the city.
Two nights mean you are never rushing. You have a whole day to ride around the lake, visit villages, go out on the water and watch the sunset, and you get to know your hosts at Y Sol House, our partner by the lake, instead of just passing through.

Day 1 Buon Ma Thuot to Lak Lake (about 55 km)
Meet your guide at your hotel at 7:30 for bike fitting and a briefing. Ride south-east out of the city through coffee farms and small villages, with a local lunch on the way. In the afternoon the landscape opens up into rice fields and hills as you near the lake; the support vehicle can take you over any section you want to skip. Check in at Y Sol House, our partner stay by the lake, around 16:00 and have a home-cooked dinner.

Day 2 Around Lak Lake (25 to 35 km)
Watch the mist lift from the water, then have breakfast. Ride around the lake on small roads through rice fields and M'nong villages, stopping to meet local people, and climb to a viewpoint for the best photos of the lake. After lunch by the water and free time, go out on the lake by local boat or dugout canoe in the late afternoon light. Dinner and second night at Y Sol House.

Day 3 Lak Lake back to Buon Ma Thuot (about 55 km)
Breakfast and a last walk along the shore, then ride back north on a different stretch of road where possible. After lunch, ride the last section to the city or finish in the support vehicle. The tour ends at your hotel at around 15:30.
