Itinerary

Every part can be changed to suit your group.

  1. Morning Pick up and ride out of the city

Your guide meets you at your hotel in Buon Ma Thuot for a short briefing and bike fitting, then you set off around 8:30. The route leaves the busy streets behind gradually, passing local neighbourhoods, small gardens and houses before opening into quieter rural roads. By mid morning you reach your first stop, a working coffee farm, where you learn about growing, harvesting, drying and roasting, and try a coffee tasting on the spot.

A cow stands on rocky terrain near a waterfall and muddy pools in a mountainous landscape.
  2. Midday Red soil roads and village trails

From the coffee farm you continue cycling along red basalt roads that cut through coffee fields, pepper gardens and small farms, one of the more photogenic stretches of the ride, especially during harvest season. Around 12:30 you stop for lunch at a local restaurant or village style spot, a relaxed break with simple Central Highlands flavours before the afternoon ride continues. Total riding by this point is around 20 to 25 km [CHECK].

Powerful waterfall cascades into turquoise pool with moss-covered rocks and lush green cliff top.
  3. Afternoon Countryside ride and coffee break

After lunch you cycle back into open countryside, stopping at a local community area where your guide shares stories about farming life and the cultural identity of Dak Lak. Later in the afternoon there is a final coffee or refreshing drink stop, a good moment for photos and conversation before the last stretch of riding. Around 5pm you finish the ride and are transferred back to your hotel in Buon Ma Thuot, having covered roughly 30 to 45 km over the day.

People wearing traditional woven textiles with colorful striped patterns stand in a line during a daytime celebration.
